Manor Park Rink

We have one of the city’s biggest ice surfaces!  The boarded, night-lit hockey rink and pleasure puddle are built, supervised and maintained by the Manor Park Community Council.

Returning this year is the location of the beautiful, lit, puddle rink on the west lawn!

Now Hiring - Rink Attendants

oin our team and be a part of a great Canadian Winter tradition - outdoor rinks! The Manor Park Community Council (MPCC) is looking for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts to help us build and maintain our skating rink for the 2021/2022 outdoor rink season!

The ideal candidate loves skating, working outside and is not afraid of a little snow shoveling. Rink attendants are responsible for rink maintenance, including shoveling and flooding of the ice. As well as opening the skate shack during supervised hours to allow skaters to change into their skates indoors.

Please submit your cover letter and resume electronically to Josh Cassidy, Sports Supervisor at jcassidy@manorpark.ca.

Calling all Rink Volunteers!

We want to make sure the rink continues to be one of the best outdoor skating surfaces in the city! With great ice comes great responsibility, we are looking to mobilize a group of dedicated volunteers to help our wonderful rink attendants ensure the ice is always in the best condition possible.

Depending on the weather we will be flooding the rink on weekday evenings. Scraping the ice and clearing the snow is no easy task, and as they say many hands make light work. It is never too late to join the Manor Park rink volunteer team!

Having a large roster of voluteers will go a long way in helping to maintain the ice. If you would like to be added to the volunteer roster then please email Josh Cassidy at jcassidy@manorpark.ca!
