Manor Park Outdoor Skating Rinks
The Manor Park Community Council (MPCC) builds, maintains and supervises a boarded, night-lit hockey rink and a pleasure-skating puddle.
The rinks are located next to the Manor Park Community Centre (100 Thornwood Road).
When visiting the rinks, please say hello to our Rink Attendants: Nathan, Everett and Tate. You will recognize them in either their red hockey jerseys or (when flooding) in their safety vests. Several times a week, always weather permitting, the ice surfaces will be scraped and flooded.
Feel free to help the Rink Attendants by picking up a shovel to clear the ice surfaces!
Some safety tips:
- Wear a helmet.
- Dress for the weather conditions.
- Know the signs of hypothermia.
- Do not raise pucks on the hockey rink.
- Welcome hockey players of all abilities into your shinny games.
- No hockey playing on the pleasure skating puddle.
- Please listen to instructions from the Rink Attendnats.
- Children must be supervised.
